- Choice of the structural system

For the given structure design 2-3 alternatives of the load-bearing system (sketches of general arrangement, scale factor 1:200, with description). After consulting with the leader of the project and other consultants choice one of the alternatives.

B – Preliminary structural analysis

Content:
------1. Sketch of the load-bearing structures – plan + section with designation of rows (1,2,3…,A,B,C…) or elements (slabs, beams, columns), with basic dimensioning, description of materials, designation of spanning of slabs, type of the prefabricated elements
------2. Calculation of loading
---------a) load for each floor or parts of the floor (e.g. different load at corridors, in stores…)
---------b) load due to partitions, peripheral walls, point loads
---------c) load due to snow, wind, soil pressure
-------- d) Preliminary structural analysis of the load-bearing structures

C – Drawings of the load-bearing structures (drawings of general arrangement or assembly drawings)
------- Drawing scale factor 1:50 or 1:100

D – Specifications (technical report) of the structural part

E – Detailed analysis of a structural element and drawings of the reinforcement layout
