LAUNCH THE PROGRAM

Description

This program can be used for the calculation and visual representation of temperature distribution in a concrete wall or slab exposed to fire after a specified period of time.

The program employes the finite difference method for the calculation of the temperature distribution.

Before the calculation, input parameters need to be defined. As for the test setup, member thickness, duration of fire, and boundary conditions need to be specified. Material parameters such as initial density, water content, and thermal conductivity limit also need to be specified. Other material parameters and their time-temperature evolutions are taken from the Eurocode standards, see [1,2].

The output of the program is a graph presenting the temperature distribution over the member thickness after the specified period of fire exposure.
