Historical roof structures with semi-rigid joints

These pictures represent different configurations of roof structure. The results shown here are part of extensive numerical study of influence of semi-rigid joints on behaviour of the structure. Joint characteristics were obtained from laboratory tests on joints taken from old buildings and the non-linear moment-rotation curve including the initial slip was introduced into calculation. Calculation of deformations and bending moment diagrams was carried for dead load and live load (snow, wind). The magnitude of deformations and bending moments are in scale and therefore comparable for different configurations.
