SIMphoto is an application designed to process raster data using single-image photogrammetry (image rectification). Photomap can be created based on measurements of control points, or simple network of measured lengths (rectangle). It is also possible to assign the scale to image with help of one-two determined distances. The software also presents several other features e.g. - elimination of distortion of the lens, insertion of a graphic scale, rotation of raster, and more. Distances can be measured above the resulting photomap. The output is stored in TIFF, JPEG, or PDF (for printing in scale).
SIMphoto software is open-source freeware licensed under the GNU GPL. You can download Czech and English version. Manual is just now only in Czech version. The application was created within the thesis Mr. David Cizek. Czech text of thesis is also possible to obtain (defended in January 2011 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering).
